With camera in hand, I focus on what nature reveals.  On every photo shoot, I’m humbled by what is divulged.  These unveilings awaken in me a powerful sense of awe…the boundless beauty, the abundant diversity, the power to destroy, the power to heal.

Occasionally, I stumble into a moment where the subject matter, lighting, color, form---every element comes together in concert.  That’s when the magic happens.  I hope my camera and I are prepared to capture it.  If I do, and then find an audience to share the photo with…well, it doesn’t get better than that.

I live in Lake Oswego, Oregon.  The great Pacific Northwest is out my back door where so many pictures await.
